What is a VEX C-channel?
VEX C – Channel has holes on 0.500″ increments. This structural member’s excellent strength and bending resistance is perfect for building robust robots. Multiple sizes available, in two different material types. Made from cold rolled steel, or 5052-H32 Aluminum. Each channel is segmented into cuttable 2.5″ pieces.

What are the 4 main types of VEX parts?
The VEX GO Kit includes a poster that provides a visual representation of all the pieces included in the kit. The poster is organized into the major categories of parts: pins, standoffs, shafts, gears, pulleys, disks, connectors, wheels, beams, angle beams, large beams, plates, and electronics.
How long is AC channel?
C – Channel aluminum piece, similar to the structural members used in a C -Base Drive Chassis, except longer. The intent of this 72″ long C – Channel is to allow users to build up from their Drive Chassis, and for them to construct frame systems by using the popular C -Base fastening techniques.
What is VEXcode?
From elementary school through college, VEXcode is a coding environment that meets students at their level. The intuitive layout of VEXcode allows students to get started quickly and easily. VEXcode is consistent across Blocks and Text, across VEX 123, GO, IQ and V5.
Which type of gears does the VEX Robotics kit contain?
This kit contains four sizes of VEX Spur Gears (12-, 36-, 60-, and 84-tooth gears). The 60- and 84-tooth gears have extra mounting holes for attaching metal bars or parts to these gears when using them as part of a turntable system or similar design. Create robot transmissions, gearboxes, and gear reductions.
How many drivers are allowed in VRC match?
<G6> Two Drivers per Team. Each Team shall include two Drivers. No Driver may fulfill this role for more than one Team at any given event, or in a given season.
What is a VEX Cortex?
The VEX Cortex Microcontroller coordinates the flow of all information and power on the robot. It has built in bi-directional communication for wireless driving, debugging and downloading using the state of the art VEXnet 802.11 wireless link. The Microcontroller is the brain of every VEX robot.
What does 8 C-Channel weigh?
Weight: 11.5 Lbs. Per Ft.
Which way is C-channel the strongest?
In the vertical direction (as oriented for the beam profile chart image above), C-Channel is typically stronger for the weight than tube. That makes it attractive, but it doesn’t come in as many different sizes, thicknesses or varieties. Finally, the open section means you can easily finish it all over.
Is Channel A size?
Channel is represented by its Web height & Flange width of the channel.
